The Prehabilitation World Conference is the international conference on the future of healthcare: prehabilitation.
Prehabilitation means getting patients fit before surgery. For patients with cancer, surgery is often the only road to survival. They need to be as fit as possible to cope with this demanding option. The time before the operation is a window of opportunity to make patients a lot fitter. Prehabilitation is the solution here.
The Prehabilitation World Conference is the world’s largest interdisciplinary congress for healthcare professionals (including paramedics) who are interested in getting patients as fit as possible before surgery.
During the congress, many prominent speakers from the Netherlands and abroad will not only highlight the latest developments but also present suggestions and advice for day-to-day clinical practice.
They will talks about ERAS (enhanced recovery after surgery), prehabilitation and rehabilitation.
In ‘Award winning session’, researchers will present their promising research projects and, on the Dutch day, there will be discussions with the Ministry and health and insurers about implementation.
It is with great pleasure that we announce this major prehabilitation conference for 2018.
The 2nd Prehabilitation World Conference will be on June 27, 28 and 29 in Eindhoven, the Netherlands.
